HARLEY DAVIDSON XXXXEL KNUCKLEHEAD BOBBER.  This is an old XXXXEL Knucklehead in good condition.  It came out of Abington,Virginia few months ago.  It was owned for many years by an old coal miner which passed away few years ago.  When we got it, it had different handlebars and different seat.  We added the original #XX Flanders Handlebars and an original Bates Seat.  The tires were shot so we put an original XX" Firestone on the front and Dirt Man XXX XX on the rear.  The aftermarket we put on are the pipes, coil, gas lines, cat eyes (dash is original HD), pad, and wiring harness.  These items were added because they were missing or in bad condition.  All the extra chrome was put on by the original owner and lot of it is little rusty.  The headlight is original but the guide script looks to have been buffed out by the chromer.  The Belly numbers are XX-XXXX and they do match.  The frame is an original bull neck and the springer is offset.  The motor comes with M-XX Linkert Carburetor.  The bike (we were told) had been sitting for many years.  We changed the fluids and rebuilt the carburetor and she cranked on the second kick.  We did not go inside the motor so we don't know the condition.  It does puff little smoke.  We rode it apx XXX miles and it still puffs slightly.  The speedo was rebuilt by John Bordas Speedometer Shop and it is original.  The transmission shifts good.  We looked inside the transmission and the gears appear to be in good condition.  The case is Panhead XXXX & up but it does have the correct top and kick cover.  The generator seems to charge.  The gas tanks are original Harley Davidson and so is the rear fender.  This bike rides, shifts, and handles great.  Once again, it does puff little smoke when riding.  It comes with clear title, signed correctly on the back.  Please ask any questions and will try to answer the best can.  It is for sale locally so reserve the right to end the auction early.
