Here are the details: HISTORY: This motorcycle was raced in the XXXXs in AHRMA races on mostly California tracks. Since then it was stored in climate-controlled area. It has clean and clear Arizona title ready to transfer and register. CHASSIS: Powdercoated XXXX Norton Slimline Featherbed frame (serial XXXXXXX) and swingarm, Roadholder forks with rare Hyde brace, Koni shock absorbers, Tomaselli clip-ons, brake and clutch levers, Dunstall rearsets. WHEELS: Polished XX" Akront rims with stainless steel spokes, twin leading shoe front brake, conical hub drum brake rear. BODY: Brand-new Manx replica gas tank and solo seat section, new custom-made aluminum oil tank LOWER MOTOR: Early Commando (serial XXMXSXXXXXX) comes with Superblend bearings and balanced crank shaft TRANSMISSION: Commando XXXXXX CYLINDERS: New bore and hone, .XX+ Hepolite pistons and rings HEAD: Bead-blasted, new valve guides, lightened rockers, valves, springs, spindles and caps in excellent condition, complete assembly, polished rocker covers. CARBURATION: XXX Amals with aluminum velocity stacks, approximately XX pairs of main jets different sizes included PARTS: Timing side oil pump, timing gears and chain. Clutch side: Primary cases in excellent condition, outer machined for better cornering clearance, primary sprocket and hub with bronze plates, new OEM Lucas stator and rotor. SHIPPING: Local inspection and pick-up welcome or shipping with Forward Air in enclosed steel crate, approximate shipping cost listed, which will change depending on buyer's location. am also willing to work with any shipping arrangements preferred by the buyer or to travel half way to nearby states to reduce costs. Basically, unique project that needs assembly,and some parts to finish, including electrical and exhaust systems, for which both there are many choices, depending on personal preference. Parts are carefully organized and hardware is mostly there (i.e. head bolts, tower nuts, bottom end bolts, etc) but possibly missing some items (e.g. timing cover bolts, Woodruff keys, etc) This motorcycle is for sale locally, so reserve the right to end auction early.
