XXXX Harley Davidson Aermacchi SSXXX Sprint. We love this bike but it has to go! We purchased this bike late spring and have had our fun with it but now has to go to make room for winter projects! The previous owner had $X,XXX of work done to it by Lancaster Aermacchi of Illinois. They specialize in parts and racing engines for Sprints! Check out their website: Lancaster Aermacchi Sprint. have attached copy of their invoice in the pictures. Unfortunately, the previous owner did not ride the bike. He said he only started it twice since the work was done. When we bought it, the motor was locked up from sitting so long. We took the motor down and replaced the piston rings (you could still read the ink part number on the top of the piston). We put everything back together, reset the ignition timing and away she went! VERY strong running bike. Starts on the second to fourth kick religiously! Shifts thru all gears smoothly, accelerates smoothly and brakes as it should! Headlight and tail light work great! Tires have some cracking but the tubes are fairly new. The tach does not work, probably minor fix but never bothered us. Mileage shows X,XXX miles but do not know if its accurate.  A very cool bike for XX+ years old! .
