This is early XXXX Triumph Bonneville TXXXR model, early meaning before factory serial number changed [XXXX units] later, as per Triumph Bonneville TRX "restoration guide book written by Triumph expert David Gaylin the early ones where painted in XX' colors of Olympic Flame and silver but in the XX' Bonneville model design, both gas tank and fenders, this one is #XXX of the early XXXX XX' model year, now thats all know about the history of this bike, would think that would make it rare one Now about this one ........ This Triumph came to me from very high quality British race shop on Los Angeles, It has had ALL the following work done to it, NEW single stage factory matched paint [Don Hutchinson paint match, Triumph color match expert] and hand pinstriping as per factory, rebuilt motor all the way down to the sludge trap, new AMAL carbs, new wiring harness and complete charging system, rebuilt SMITH black face gauges XX' style now, can put on the XX grey face rebuilt ones if you prefer] have only XXX miles on this bike now, but am still riding it around until reserve is met. also ALL parts have replaced as well i.e. tires, grips, clutch, cables, brakes and foot pegs. This Triumph was built to be rider not show bike, Did the bike come out lot nicer then expected it to? yes! did not rechrome anything, no powder coating and/or polish the motor covers either, but once we went through ALL of the mechanicals could not leave it the ugly color of blue got it in So thats how found out through research about the numbers to what color and design it needs to be painted and single stage to give it more of the wright tone of paint for the rest of the RESURRECTION of this sweet rider, wanted to completely rebuild Bonneville that would be care free Vintage Triumph motorcycle that you could ride anywhere and everywhere and not worry about it not showing as well and your local trailer queen hangout. this jewel is completely ready to ride up and down the California coast all day long. BTW will also be listing my XX' and XX Triumph Bonneville in the very near future, both in very high rider quality resurrections with all the same work done to them, pictures of the XX and the XX pics each are included in this ad.
