I gave this great matching numbers XXXX BSA Lightning XXX. I've owned this bike for nearly years. bought it from "bobs classic bikes" and have enjoyed it since. cleaned the carbs, new throttle cables and clutch, put on new tires. The paint is great, and it is mostly original as far as can tell. The only new pieces are the gauges are new, believe exhaust is new. Also the choke has been removed which was normal in the late XXs (this bike was built November XX). have not ridden it in about months, and I'm sure it will need service to get back to running right. It was running real strong last time road it. I'm selling it due to not riding it and having problems kicking the bike because of two spine surgeries are taking their toll. I'll prob buy something with electric start, but will miss this great piece of British history. Buyer will be responsible for shipping or pick up. Thanks
