Very Fresh & outstanding stroke Flat Tracker! This bike was advertised when bought it as XXXX model XX, which it may be if it was first sold and titled in XXXX. The frame B-XXXXXXX shows it to be XXXX MKIV model XX. The motor is model XX MKV, XXXX #M-XXXXXXX more powerful engine. was told the engine was out of 'XX and it could have been first sold and titled in XXXX. So the bike is 'XX or 'XX, the engine possibly 'XX or 'XX. The entire motor and drive train are completely rebuilt. Mikuni carb, all new cables, bars, seat, seat pan, and rear fender. Bike is built for racing but has not been raced yet and has only been ridden four or five times with maybe two or three hours on it at the most. This bike is fast and is ready to race! am only selling as there are no tracks anywhere around here and since have not lived in this area for long don't know anyone that has similar type of bike to ride with.
The cylinder and piston are still at original size bore. Intake and exhaust have been ported. Piston skirt has been cut on the exhaust side for performance. Dual plug cylinder head running one spark plug and other hole has compression release for racing. Frame has been powder coated twice, once silver, then again with clear. Super wide billet triple clamps with extra wide lipped wheels with Buchanan stainless spokes. Tires are used but in good condition. New "Progressive" rear shocks. Tank is original and just been sealed. Front forks are original and have been completely rebuilt and polished, they have been lowered for flat track racing.
Looking at the values for this model bike in the XXXX/XXXX edition of "Comprehensive Vintage Motorcycle Price Guide" to be quite collectible. Also NADA guides also has the price up there pretty high. However my reserve is not as high as the book calls for.
