This is my cousin's Yamaha TX XXX. He's owned it forsomething like XX years, and it was his first source of transportation, so hehas some particularly fond memories of it. That said, his garage has moremotorcycles than space and he as asked me to sell it for him.

My cousinhasn't run this bike for about XX years. It ran fine, with the exception thatthere were some shifting difficulties. He suspected the shifting plate wasbent, which was making shifting into Xnd more difficult. He had intended toresolve the issue, but never did, getting new motorcycle instead. Inaddition, know that the electric starter had problems, and one of the mirrorshad stripped threads. 

Asidefrom that, I'm sure there are standard deferred maintenance issues. E.g., thebrakes aren't responsive and no doubt have air in the lines.


Minorissues aside, it was running great before he parked it. It's simply heavierbike than he likes to run, and his nostalgia aside, he prefers dirt biking withhis KTM. 

He alsohas another XX' TX XXX engine he was rebuilding, that was never reassembled. Inother words, quite few parts are available, and can dig them out if thebuyer is interested. 

I listedthis on craigslist for $XXX, and got response an hour later, so think Iunderpriced.  I?��m posting this before Ihead to bed, so if you?��re interested, let me know soon.
(Due to multiple inquires over the last XX hours, realize that underpriced. After consulting with my cousin, we decided we need to increase the price to some closer to it's actual value.  Suggestions welcome).
