1974 Harley-Davidson Sportster for sale

This is XXXX Harley Sportster picked up couple years ago from the owner that had it since XXXX.  He rode bike for many years to Michigan, Tennessee, etc.  Then in XXXX he took the bike to local Harley Davidson dealer and had stroker kit in stalled.  It is now XXci motor, with tons of perfoemance add ons.  This bike flat rips, and is blast to ride.  The bike has phase three belt primary/drive.  This elimintated ton of rotating mass, and it comes with an extra new belt.  The bike has Andrews cams, XXX duration, .XXX lift .XXX valve travel.  Only reason know these specs is have the original cam sheet with the bike, and the original stock cams that go with the bike also.  Bike was fitted with Hi-comp pistons and cylinders that were parts of the stroker conversion.  have original stock flywheels and rods, but not the cylinders and pistons, they were sold to friend years ago.  have two carbs with the bike, the one on the bike is jetted and tuned to this motor and exhaust on the bike.  This bike is rough idle, and until it warms up, does not idle great.  It basically just needs riden, and have not done that much in last two years.  It has kick start conversion installed years ago also, but only use the electric start.  have tried to kick, but compression is pretty tough!  Has Transistorized Regulator by Franks, have paper work on that also.  have never had an electrics issue with the bike, battery is bit week at times, but has nothing to do with not charging or anything.  The bike has Alumium rims and Brand new tires that are period correct to the bike.  Rear is X.XX XX and front is X.XX XX.  Looks very cool, and ride like original tires should.  The bike has all the stock parts that came with is also, that go with the bike if desired.  Gauges, front fender, master cylinder, tail light, engine parts, and much more that Im forgetting.  The bike has been lowered in the front X" and sits perfect now.  The forks have newer aftermarket fork covers on it, to make it look more stalky, and the headlight is vintage light from the era.  Stock sporster headlights just look cheesy to me.  The stoker conversion was done in XXXX, and since has had Xk put on the bike in those years.  have only put XXX to XXX miles on the bike in last years.  The title is still the same title since XXXX and is open.  Original owner is still alive and well if you buy and ever wanted to talk to him.  Also belive the shop that built the stroker is still in business today too.  Bike has new oil and filter, oil pump was upgraded in XXXX also and has an oil cooler mounted on the front.  Pumps good, oil will sump to cases bit if sits for extended period of time.  This is the xlh model, and could be put back to dead stock if wanted to.  Or ride this to every bike night and roast the hell out of crotch rockets.  Has low rise bars on it, like flat track style.  The original bars and controls come with the bike also.  The bike has great patina, and just looks tough.  everyone compliments it all the time.  Its really in great shape for its age.  The taillight is bmw side car light and looks great.  Have all stock parts for the tail light that go with the bike.  will take any pictures needed, an ask any questions to the best of my knowledge.  You could ride the bike home, but probably better to haul until you can get used to this bike. Its fast, and if geared with correct sprocket could be drag bike.  hate to sell it, but have two kids, and dont need the fast machines anymore.  Plus kids cant ride on it with me.  If you buy bike, can create up and have ready for shipper to pick up from my location.  NO RESERVE!!!, my buy it now is deal if you consider how much stroker would cost to build.  Please ask questions and see pictures, if you cant afford dont bid, if you buy it on here you own it and payment must be made before june Xst!!!!!!  want you to know what you are getting so please ask questions.  This is vintage bike, not show room piece, smells like oil and gas.  The skull and wings is painted by my mother in XXXX by hand, check out her art at bellflower art com
