XXXX XXX mm Springer Chopper ?�?Black Hills Gold?�? This beautiful creation was brought tolife by South Side Motorcycle Company in Orland Park, IL. The visionstarted with an engine from XXXX Shovel head and an XX?�? spoked car rim with acustom hub designed to accommodate X?�? inch axle and spinner knock-off. Theidea was simple, Longrider Chopper reminiscence of the early years with anincredible paint job and perfectly tuned Shovel Head engine. After looking intothe engine it was decided that it would be best to start with new block andonly use the heads form the original XXXX engine. The engine consists of anS&S short block with Black Widow cam and an updated oiling systemdesigned to allow the oil to travel to the heads through the pushrods. Therocker boxes were split and polished until they shined like chrome, it has aRivera carb with velocity stack and it sounds just plain nasty rippingthrough the one off exhaust built by South Side. To achieve the desired stretchand rake they went with molded hard tail frame from Pro Street Frameworks that has beenstretched XX up, back and has XX degree rake. The frame is complimented bya gorgeous springer front end from DenverChoppers that is XX over. The old school paint job consists of variegatedgold leaf pattern with pinstripes on top of House of Kolor Black. Othernotable feature include the Joker Machine dual headlights, Paucho bars andrisers, the stretched Paucho coffin tank, Paucho rear fender, Exile forwardcontrols, Precision Machine hand controls, Rev-Tech speed transmission anda Belt Drives Ltd (BDL) belt drive. This is top of the line build that earnedBest of Show in the judged class at the Easyrider show in Louisville, KYin XXXX. This award prompted it being showcased in the March XXXX issue ofBiker. The build on this bike exceeded $XX,XXX and it has been driven less than XXX miles since its completion.
