XXXX Triumph Silver Jubilee Bonneville. Numbers matching correct original one of XXXX bikes built to commemorate the Queen of England's XXth year on the throne.
Photos show condition, XX,XXX+ original miles, was running years ago. Will need to be brought back to life. Kicks over with good compression. All original, complete, has been stored inside for at least the last years. Surface scratches or chips, minor corrosion, rust etc as normal for used motorcycle that is XX years old. Needs new battery. One of the original XXXX bikes built, true collectors bike.
Also includes the original owners manual, Triumph letter of extended warranty, original sales invoice and folder from the dealer. Originally sold by Motorcycles Unlimited in Corte Madera, CA
The XXXX TXXXJ was launched as limited edition of X,XXX in USA and an additional X,XXX in UK specification (plus XXX for Commonwealth export) of the TXXXV, produced to commemorate the XXXX Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.[XX] The idea originated with Lord Stokes who was Chairman of British Leyland and working as consultant to the Meriden Co-operative.A silver finish with red and blue lining was used and was matched by blue saddle with red beading. Primary drive, taillight housing and timing covers were chrome-plated and the wheel rim centres were painted and lined. US-version side panels had "One of Thousand" written under Union Jack flag stickers, UK-version side panels had "Limited Edition", while the remaining XXX Commonwealth export bikes were badged "International Edition". Quickly established as collectors item, each machine was supplied with unique certificate of ownership.[XX][XX]
