It really is an amazingbike. I??�m massive Honda VX enthusiast with XXyears motorcyclingriding/racing experience and would have loved an RCXX. But at XXk plus, that??�s way out of my pricerange. They are XXXhp/XXXkgs. This RCXX is XXXhp/XXXkgs. It??�s XX% an RCXX for small fraction of the price! For those who aren??�t familiar, Honda??�s firstVX had issues with the engine and they over engineered the next version toensure there weren??�t issues. The XX-XXwere great bikes, but the XX-XX were thefastest of all the XXX??�s! Biggest carbs(XXmm vs XXmm for XX/XX and XX-XX models), valves, highest compression (XX:X vsXX.X:X), lightest (XXXkgs vs XXXkgs for XX-XX).I had but had to sell one due to moving and I??�m keepingthe other as my track bike as it already has CBRXXX rims for bigger tires. My next step was to put CBRXXX rims on it,but was lucky enough to find one that already had them so bought that andkept this as is. In the last years have worked heaps on this bike, makingit handle well as stock bike can without changing wheels and suspension. have fine-tuned the suspension withdifferent fork oil/height along with front end geometry. have got the best possible tire for thismodel after trying many different brands and sizes. Recently have fully cleaned out the carburettors, newplugs, new clutch, new brake lines and fluids, oil/filter, always run onPenrite XXwXX synthetic, new into collector by Ken from Megacycle, had theentire electrical system checked out by very experienced mechanic Paul atEastern Motorcycle Wreckers, new stator, reg rec changed, new Motobatt battery.Bike is good XX foot bike. Looks pretty good from there, but is far from professional paintjob. It??�s rough and ready job as thisis bike to be used and ridden hard, not show bike. Could be improved if wanted, but justwanted it to look reasonable and not worry too much about if dropped it asI??�d spent fortune on flash paint job. If you want show bike, buy an RCXX for XXk J Has blemishes, the main ones being twomarks on the tank where other bike bars have rubbed against the tank, havetouched up.
