NO RESERVE!  Sell to highest bidder at end of day listing. I am selling XXXX Yamaha VMAX that purchased through an auction, but decided not to keep it. The bike was used for training purposes at technical training school. It is currently registered in California and has no back DMV fees. It is on Planned Non-Operation (PNO) status and can be registered by the new owner by paying the current registration fees in California or another state. As the pictures show, the bike is in excellent condition, but there are issues that must be addressed by the new owner. The carbs need to be removed and cleaned or rebuilt.  Speedo indicates only X,XXX miles, but have no proof that the reading is accurate. The bike has had virtually no miles on it while used as training aid. This also contributes to the carburetion issues. There are numerous non-critical "gremlins" to be addressed, like replacing some wiring, screws and panel snaps that need replacement and other minor issues. To the best of my knowledge, the drive train, frame, brakes, clutch, and other critical components are in excellent condition (with the exception of the carb problem noted). Someone with knowledge and experience with motorcycles could have this machine running in excellent condition with little work and TLC. The bike is scary fast and has history of devoted followers who love the VMAX. This is an opportunity to purchase very desirable bike with great potential for much less than market cost.
