HISTORY ( Do not compare the rare U.S. MTXXX?s with non U.S. models.Only XXXX & XXXX?s are U.S In England, Armstrong Motorcycles produced; MT?s from XXXX to XXXX. The MTXXX?s all went to the British Army and the few MTXXX?s went to Jordan and the Canadian Military?s. In XXXX Harley-Davidson bought the Armstrong Motorcycles for the right to use theRotax engines in some of their dirt track racers. In XXXX Harley-Davidson produced aboutXX U.S. MTXXX?s for the U.S. market. (about XXXX from XX to XXXX although most werenot U.S. bikes) Some were made for the U.S. Military. One was kept by Harley-Davidson and now displayed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. They made XXX U.S. MTXXX?s in XXXX?s and less U.S. MTXXX?s in XXXX. Thus making the U.S. MTXXX?s one of the rarest and lowest production motorcycles ever made by Harley-Davidson in this Country for the past XXX years. The U.S. Military had XX new ones left that they did not use for testing. On Friday JulyXX, XXXX the Military put an ad in the Stars & Stripes newspaper for these remainingbikes. They had such large response they had to have raffle for the bikes. Reliable sources have only foundabout XX, XXXX?s and about XX, XXXX?s. Several non-U.S. bikes and very very few XXXXto XX U.S. bikes. Most of these bikes are in dealerships museums, or in private collectormuseum. Parts are readily available from ForceMotorcycles orKLMotorsport of Great Britten. They purchased theentire MT parts inventory from Harley-Davidson. I have not had any mechanical issues with this motorcycle nor do foresee any mechanical issues of any kind.
