Here is very nice XXXX Ultra with custom paint. It has numerous added optional and custom features: luggage rack, light visors, chrome gauge bezels, windshield mounted bags, stainless flamed fairing trim at base of windshield. etc. The nicest feature is the beautiful custom flamed paint job. The metallic red pearl has heavy red metal flake sandwiched between the base color and the gold pearl flames, topped off with six coats of clear. The clear was color sanded so that no paint lines from the flames show, the clear is flat, peel free and super shiny. All paint was DuPont Chromabase, (now called Axalta). The bike does show some normal wear, but not much for XXXX with just over XXK miles. It runs great and has good tires, the rear is about XX% and the front XX% tread left. I replaced both the front and rear brake pads at XX,XXX miles with original Harley pads when replaced the tires. They weren't worn out, but it was easy since the tires were already off. The mufflers are the stock originals, but sent them in to have them reworked for slightly louder and lower tone, with the same back pressure so the engine runs just like original. I am selling the bike because ride it very little lately, just XXX miles last year. My wife and used to travel all over the country on the bike, but not anymore. I have large muscle car collection and it seems that car shows or cruise-ins take up all my spare time. Now the legal stuff: The title is Michigan rebuilt title. The original owner took the trip to Bikeweek at Daytona in XXXX and like some others, got drunk and tried to ride on the sand. Well, the expected happened, he laid it down at low speed. It did no mechanical or frame damage whatsoever. It didn't even bend the crash bar, handle bars or foot boards. He did scratch up the outer fairing, and broke the right saddle bag and tour pack when the sand dragged the lids open. The front fender was also bent and on the right fork lower one bolt boss was cracked (see pic). Since he had good insurance with new bike replacement in the first year, they totaled it and he got new bike. I bought the bike, replaced the front fender, right saddle bag and tour pack with clean used parts. I then applied the custom paint job, have been custom painter for XX years and do quality work. Michigan requires that rebuilt titled vehicle is inspected by State Police Trooper specially trained for this job and he passed the bike with no problem at all. So to make long story short, the bike had minor cosmetic damage and runs and handles great. I do have replacement fork lowers, but have never bothered to install them and they come with the bike. I am not dealer, so no warranty applies, the bike is sold as-is, where-is. I will require that the winning bidder make non-refundable deposit in the amount of $XXX.XX due within XX hours of the auction close via Paypal. The balance is due within XX days of the auction close. The balance must be paid in cash at pickup if within the XX day limit, or by cashiers check or wire transfer that has cleared my bank prior to pickup by you or shipper. If you are going to have the bike shipped, can meet your shipper almost anytime as long as get day or so notice. I will store the bike at no cost for up to XX days after payment, if you need time to arrange pickup or shipping.
