Selling the bike as just don't use it enough, family commitments come first. The bike is just too good to sit in the shed and not be used and don't ride with pillion enough to justify having bike such as this.Have had the bike for about year and have only done XXXX kms on it. Mechanically and cosmetically the bike is in excellent condition.I have installed larger screen (still have the original screen, albeit bit cloudy), tyres have only XXXXkms wear on them- Metzeler MEXXX, new fuel pump/filter/strainer, changed fork oil/seals and all fluids have been changed, new front brake pads, brighter headlight globe installed and the cooling flushed/changed. All these items were changed about XXXXkms ago/X months.The audio system works fine and comes with helmet headsets. Everything works as it should. Has fitted sheepskin covers on both rider and pillion seats and comes with BMW internal bags for side panniers and topbox. Has electronic cruise control, heated seats, stacker CD player, radio, cassette player and trip computer. Fuel economy is about XXkm/litre over XXXkm to tank.According to the previous owner am the Xrd owner, the previous owner had the bike for about XX years and sold it due to age and lack of use.The bike does not have the servo-assist brakes which make it breeze to service the brakes (just like normal brakes) and the ABS works fine.
Selling as is where is. The bike is advertised elsewhere.
X/XX/XX just returned from trip to Sydney (work purposes) and it performed flawlessly averaging XX-XXkm/litre. Used no oil at all and it was joy to ride. The trip computer that lets you know how many kms you have left in the tank was surprisingly accurate although didn't push it down to the last few kms, just in case...The electric cruise control is godsend on long trips. Just to add, the bike is currently registered until April XXXX, RWC can be supplied to Victorian buyers at the buy it now price, it should pass RW inspection. Thanks
