The first person to test ride my last three bikes bought them the same day, so get in quick if you are serious about owning one of these.There is no warranty implied or given. What you see is what you get, but the bike has no issues that know of. The photo's form part of the description, and are all recent.I live in South Turramurra, and work in Parramatta. The bike can be seen at Parramatta during work hours, or at home outside of that.
I bought this bike from Rock Motorcycles in Port Macquarie XX months ago with XXXX km on it. have since added another XX thousand or so since then.It was just the basic bike then, and cost just short of $XX,XXX.
I have owned of these bikes, and have always sold them in far better condition than when bought them, and take great pride in the performance and appearance of my bikes.I am buying new liquid cooled GS, but the trade in price was not acceptable. may as well sell it private and let someone else get bargain instead of putting more money in the stealers pocketsAny bike own never goes into stealership workshop as know, can do the job as well, if not better than the apprentices these guys use. As such there is no dealer maintenance record.All parts used have been genuine BMW when needed.I do however document all work done on my bikes, and this can be seen on the whiteboard in my garage in permanent ink. copy of which is included here.
I have recently added new Givi two piece windscreen, and wind wings which can be seen in the photos. am ft tall and this windscreen alleviates any wind buffering. Giving nice calm riding environment.There is Garmin Zumo XXX hard wired to the bike, works perfectly but may need map update by now.There is leather Bagster tank bag. When touring two up, find the extra storage handy. large array of tank bag sizes can be attached to this cover.There is an adjustable gear lever, to suit whatever angle and height you need to accommodate boots etc.There is set of handlebar risers fitted, but can put the stock mounts back on if you prefer.There is "cockpit cover" sitting behind the head unit. It supplies two extra power outlets for accessories. Hela, and Powerlet. Great for charging accessories in the tank bag.The top box and panniers are all adjustable and work fine. The panniers have moved from three other bikes, and do have battle scars on them, but still work perfectly and are waterproof, and dust proof.I have just fitted two new Michelin Pilot Road tyres. They average around XXXXX km on the rear, and twice that on the fronts. In my opinion, these are the best tyres have ever had on bike.The oils are changed at half of the recommended specs, every X,XX km max, in my opinion, this is the cheapest, and easiest part of maintaining healthy engine.There is also spare exhaust muffler, and the old windscreen which are part of the sale.All up there is around two thousand dollars of added value on this bike, in just the last month.Check the websites, and see if there is better equipped bike of the same year for this price...good luck finding one.
