Here we have for sale my sons CBRXXXRR FireBlade. It has been unused since June XXXX when he moved house and couldn't afford the insurance premium at the new postcode. It has been dry stored in my garage since, where have looked after it keeping the battery topped up, moved it about from time to time to keep the chain lubed and stop brakes and chain seizing and generally kept it in tip-top condition. It is nice and clean and in good overall condition apart from small dent in the tank and some scratches on the left side engine casing both caused by static drop just before he stopped riding it. The dent will push out if required but its not that bad and we decided to sell as is. I put an MOT on it on Saturday XXrd April so it has full year all but the week. The MOT advises on front brake pads (around X.Xmm left which is loads in the real world) and some cracking on the front tyre valve although its doesnt leak and think the MOT tester was being quite harsh on both items. I put new battery on it as the old one had suffered during storage. There is Meta alarm fitted with the switch integrated into one of the bike's key fobs and the other switch on a separate fob with the spare key. The fitted gear indicator works but needs regulating; the only other extra is the Renntec rear rack you can see in the pictures. Apart from that it is standard, even down to toolkit under the pillion seat. Tyres and chain/sprockets are good with loads of life in them. My son is the third owner. The service history from the first owner is mostly missing but with the second owner there is service history as follows: first service at XXXmiles, service at XX,XXX miles (in XXXX) and front fork recall, service at XX,XXXmiles (in XXXX), XX,XXX (in XXXX), XX,XXX (in XXXX), XX,XXX (in April XXXX when my son bought it). Current mileage in XX,XXX. (in one of the pictures it says "KMH", that was me fiddling with the buttons and not realising had switched the speedo to KMH. It also does MPH and the recorded mileage is only in miles it is UK bike) This is great bike in great overall condition. It can be viewed almost anytime but any test rides only on production of bona-fide evidence of fully comp insurance to ride this specific bike and cash in my hand. We are not interested in any part-ex's or other stupid offers (a sensible cash offer, yes) but there's no rush to sell. You will also be dealing with me not my son but am fully authorised to sell on his behalf. Payment in cash or bank transfer by faster payment. Buyer collects, will not arrange transport but if you arrange it want the money for the bike in my bank account at least XX hours before collection. Any questions please ask.
