 I bought this bike as project,with the intention of getting my stepson involved in sorting it out ready for the road as it was to be his first bike.He discovered the joys of marijuana instead,so decided it was best not to let another drug affected youngster loose on the roads.
I decided to go ahead and make it project anyway to keep myself busy,i have spent way too much money on it to recoup from selling it but it has to go,my loss is your gain.If it meets the very reasonable reserve will put it through the roadworthy,which is included in the price.
The Good: The cylinder head has been stripped,decoked,the valves lapped in and had new valve stem seals fitted.
The carbies have been stripped,cleaned and sychronised when refitted,the engine runs nicely.
All fluids have been changed including oil and filter.new spark plugs.
The brakes have been overhauled and the pads are good.
The front tyre is brand new,the rear hardly worn.
Chain and sprockets are hardly worn.
The battery was new last week.
The bad,the fairing was cracked,mostly around the front right flasher,it has had solid repair done.The screen is cracked and will be replaced as this is roadworthy item.There are scuffs,scratches and dings around the bike but it's all cosmetic.The seat lock is missing but may have it somewhere.There is some surface rust around the swinging arm area,forks are good.
