This bike is old so yes, the new-ness has worn off but it's still in great condition for its age.
The tyres have little cracking here and there but have loads of tread and passed the MOT (see photos). The brakes and clutch are good. One side panel is purple instead of turquoise but still looks OK because it matches the other purple bits really very well. The exhaust is road-legal aftermarket job that makes the (GPZ) XXXcc twin piston engine sound really nice! It's had replacement mirrors, sump guard, stainless allen key bolts etc.
