Where to start...

Here we have Kawasaki ZLXXXX Eliminator, one of the original Japanese muscle bikes. complete hoot to ride back in the day and certainly could be again. If you were at the Isle of Man TT in the late XX's then you were probably overtaken by this bike at some point!

Last taxed in XXXX, but believe it made couple of trips the Isle of Man after that ;)

I got from friend in XXXX after it had stood for couple of years. My intention at the time was to restore it, but like so many of those good intentions it never happened. After more (running) bikes joined it in my garage it was relegated to the shed at the bottom of the garden, where it stayed until retrieved it couple of weeks ago. am moving house soon and it can't come with me.

The shed was/is completely dry and it came out in much the same condition it went in, however that is not saying much!

It will need complete overhaul. It is all there, believe, except for the collector box and silencers which like many on these bikes rotted away after being exposed the English weather for too long. You used to be able to get parts from America but my idea was always to add couple of slash cut exhausts to it, which would make it sound awesome. As write this there is complete exhaust system for sale in the US for around ??XXX plus shipping.

As far as am aware it was running before being stored, the lack of silencers being the main reason for it going off road.

I have the VXC in my possession and in my name. The bike is registered as SORN.

Since it has been stored for so long no attempt has been made to turn it over or start it, as after all that time feel it requires some tlc before letting pistons move inside those old dry cylinders.

The tank has dent on the rhs, rear indicators have snapped off and the seat is torn amongst other things. The damage to the tank occured due to low speed 'off' while going through the super twisty Druidale on the Isle of Man, rather ironically while on the way back from Douglas after paying speeding fine!!! Luckily for the rider & bike it landed on soft gound and neither hit anything hard. The bike was still rideable and the frame, forks etc are straight. In fact it was used for couple of years afterwards so no real issue there.

Like I've already said complete overhaul is required, or perhaps you just want it for the engine? I'm not interested in selling off specific parts, it all needs to go, as one, before move house.

Please take close look at the pictures, or you are welcome to come over to Reading and have closer look. I'm just off junction XX of the MX.

Sold as seen offered as non-runner. No returns accepted.

Message me via ebay if you want more information, phone number or my address for viewing.

Winning bidder to pay immediately via Paypal or in cash on collection. Please collect within week (with van or trailer!).

Starts at ??XXX and will be sold via the auction only. It is not advertised elsewhere there is no buy it now and will not take any offers. Please don't test my patience with that one!

If you are looking at this advert anywhere but the UK and want to bid then you are welcome but you will have to arrange collection yourself and pay upfront. can't stop the listing from saying will post to Europe, won't!

XX% of the winning bid (if there is one) will go to Reading Mencap as thanks for all their help over the years.
