XXXX Moto Guzzi XXXSIf the measure of bikes rareness was based on how many you have ever seen for sale anywhere on earth then this gorgeous little Italian has to be right up there. Like all Moto Guzzis, production numbers are low and given that when new this bike was lot more expensive than what could be purchased from say Japan, so very few were sold, hence these machines are indeed rare.Purchased almost five years ago from gentleman in South Australia in its current restored condition. The restoration is as good as have seen with overall attention to detail and emphasis on originality obvious by the bikes presentation. After few years in careful storage, removed the covers, pumped up the tyres, removed and cleaned the carbies, reset the tappets, put in some fresh fuel to what was drained tank for storage and fired her up.Current ConditionBad PointsThe bike will need at some point throttle cable, the throttle still works but this will need to be replaced, readily available. The air filter foam needs to be replaced, the foam was so badly perished that it was discarded. this is an easy item to fix.The bike would benefit from tune by someone more able than IThere is small blemish on the paint on the tank, this is hardly noticeableGood Pointsthe bike presents beautifully and still shines. The running gear including gearbox, final drive, driveshaft, Tyres, brakes, clutch, electrics, charging, lights etc. are all perfectI have the original mirrorsParts catalogue includedThe Sale have offered the bike to two close friends and fellow Moto Guzzi enthusiasts. In the event that either of these guys decides to buy the bike from me to add to his collection then the auction will be stopped and the bike removed from EbayOtherwise the auction will run to the endReserve will no be disclosedI can assist with freight to Perth for transport interstate for the cost of fuel $XXX.
