This bike was once owned by the racer/journalist Ray Knight. Ray had been around the racing scene for considerable time, often riding Triumphs. In XXXX he won the XXXcc Production Class on machine similar to this one. In XXXX he finished Xth in the Classic Bike TT riding XXX Triumph.
Some time later he decided he would like to do few more 'competitive' laps of the Mountain Circuit and so he sourced /built this bike.
The bike was registered in XXXX in the IOM Reg. No. FMNXXXC.
The engine No. PGXXXXX TXXXR is November XXXX and the frame No. GCXXXXX is March XXXX. It has 'works' parallel induction tracts, works cut away oil tank and Boyer Ignition.
Ray rode the bike in the XXXX TT Parade see pic.
Ray sold the bike in XXXX where it came to England, it was unused until XXXX when registered in the UK, indicators and mirrors were fitted for road use, and the bike was ridden until about years ago when it was SORN'd.
It has just been serviced and recommissioned, so is in full running order. A new MOT can be supplied with the bike if required.
