Wouldn't you know it? Another flaky eBayer! What shock!"Winning" bidder decided they didn't want to pay for the bike so have relisted, happy bidding and remember the golden rule, DON'T BID IF YOU DON'T ACTUALLY WANT IT! For sale is my YL-X XXXcc. brought the bike X-X months ago as part of an estate sale. There were three other bikes in the sale and unfortunately have got my ambitions mixed up with my capabilities as far as restoring bikes. So the YL is first to go.The bike is not running and the engine is seized. It does seem to shift through the gears while rocking but wont kick over. have no idea when it was last running as there was no info provided when brought it (they didn't even know what little gem they had).It is XX% complete with all the major components there. The parts have noticed that are obviously missing are:Throttle tube;Battery cover;Battery;Magneto cover;Chain;Seat although there is Honda seat with the bike that is very similar to the YL seat (may be able to adapt to fit);Oil pump cover;I estimate the bike is XXXX - XXXX model, purely from the research have done. Yamaha had been building bikes under the name Lilac up until XXXX, so these bikes come early in the history of the Yamaha brand. Officially known as the YL-X, they were marketed in the United States as the XXXcc TWINJET.Please use the pictures to help you decide if the bike is right for you. have done my best to give an honest depiction of the bike, however there maybe some small things have missed. Bike is not "listed elsewhere" and do not end auctions early, bid with confidence that if you win it you get it.The bike is currently in storage in Bendigo Victoria. Thanks for looking.
