1942 Harley-Davidson Other for sale

W = Flathead XX Cubic Inch, side valve engine L= High Compression A= Army
Left the factory as Military Bike, this bike was completely restored into New Orleans Highway Patrol Bike. It has Police Package which is the Red and Blue Passing Lamps and the Siren, The electrical system is the original Volt and all the wiring Harnesses have also been redone. It has Speed Hand Shifter and it is NOT Suicide Clutch as you must release the Foot Clutch by pressing down on the Heel, it is dry clutch. The bike has XX” Wheels front and back, it is equipped with the Original Brass Carburetor. The left hand grip is the Spark Advance used to start the bike. The Serial Number on the Engine WLAXXXXX which means the bike was manufactured between May Xth XXXX and April XXXX and it is Type III.
